Notes
Maximum amount we will pay
The most we will pay for each insured person for each trip, unless it says otherwise.
Excess
The amount we will take off for each insured person, for each
section, for each incident claimed for. For example a couple who
both have personal belongings stolen from their room and both
have to pay medical costs during the same trip, will have a total of
four excesses taken from the total amount they claim. Two of these
excesses will be for the two claims under ‘Section 1 - Emergency
medical and associated expenses’ and two will be for the two claims
under ‘Section 3 - Personal belongings’. If you have paid an extra
premium for excess waiver cover, the excess will not apply
Medical treatment in the UK
There is no cover for medical costs you pay in the UK, except for
emergency dental treatment, or trips to the Channel Islands where
National Health Service (NHS) treatment is not available.
